Shift Services employees receive a variety of training and certifications to meet and exceed industry standards across all sectors we serve. 

OBOW

ONE BASIN – One Way! is a standardized safety orientation program developed by producers and contractors specifically for those working in the Bakken region. This training offers a North Dakota-based perspective on the unique hazards present in the Williston Basin.

H2S Clear

PEC H2S Clear for Energy is the industry-leading, instructor-led training program focused on the dangers of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S). This comprehensive 4-hour course equips workers with essential knowledge and procedures for safely operating in environments where H₂S exposure is a potential hazard.

Confined Space & Fit Tested

Confined Space Training- This training is designed to educate workers on the hazards associated with confined spaces and the proper procedures for safe entry, work, and exit. It covers topics such as atmospheric testing, permit requirements, emergency procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The course ensures compliance with OSHA standards and prepares employees to work safely in confined or restricted areas. 


Fit Test Training ensures that workers are properly fitted for respiratory protection equipment. This training includes instruction on the correct use, care, and limitations of respirators, as well as hands-on qualitative or quantitative fit testing. It is essential for employees who may be exposed to airborne hazards and helps ensure compliance with OSHA respiratory protection standards.

First Aid & CPR

The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest scientific guidelines and teaches participants how to recognize and respond to a wide range of emergencies. These include burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, and back injuries, as well as heat- and cold-related emergencies. The course also covers how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies.
